Chelsea striker Emanuel Emegha appeared to be fired up during his debut for the Blues, with the young forward involved in a surprising incident with Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk.
Emegha came on in the second half but wasted little time getting involved in the action. At one point, Van Dijk passed the ball, but Emegha kept running towards him and pushed the Liverpool defender hard.
The reason behind Emegha’s reaction remains unclear, as the incident was the only moment of its kind caught on camera.
However, the young striker certainly seemed eager to make his presence felt, showing little hesitation in confronting one of Liverpool’s most experienced players.
