Spain were once again too good for their opponents as they overcame Czechia 3-1 at home in their third Nations League game of the season. Barcelona superstar Lamine Yamal and teammate Rodri opened the scoring in the first half.
Here’s how the players performed:
Lamine gave Spain the best possible start with a tremendous effort that left everyone speechless. The winger was simply incredible despite playing only 45 minutes before being hooked. He made 3 key passes, 5 progressive carries and 2 recoveries.
Rodri – 8.5
Rodri was the boss of the midfield from start to finish, dictating the play and even getting on the scoresheet himself. He made one key pass, 97 accurate passes, 4 progressive carries, plus 4 recoveries. Rodri was immense.
Pedri – 7.5
Pedri played a top game until he was subbed off in the 66th minute. He made 3 key passes and created one big chance. His pass accuracy stood at 98%. He also has two progressive carries and one interception.
Le Normand – 5.5
Le Normand didn’t have the best game as he was often left flat-footed when Czechia made some of their rare attacks. The Atletico Madrid defender made 3 defensive contributions, 3 recoveries and committed one foul.
Olmo – 7
Dani Olmo had a fairly good game, until he was subbed off in the second half. He finished the game with a fine assist and recorded 4 key passes. Add that to his 4 progressive carries and 2 recoveries.
Raya – 4
Raya made one save in the game, but the Arsenal goalie was guilty of making an error leading to a shot, while also conceding one goal, thus failing to keep a clean sheet. And he made a mistake leading to Czechia’s disallowed goal.
