Alexander Isak was able to maintain his impressive form for Liverpool by putting them in a 1-0 lead against AFC Bournemouth in their 2026/27 Premier League clash.
Just before the hour-mark, the Swedish forward was able to get past his marker and convert from close range to give an important lead to the Reds.
After the goal, Isak approached the travelling Liverpool fans that were seated in the away stand – which was nearby the Bournemouth goal.
He took part in some ecstatic celebrations with the supporters, embracing them and also receiving a lot of their love in return as well.
However, after the celebrations were over, Isak was greeted by the referee and given a yellow card for that.
As Premier League rules, players who take part in such fan celebrations can be at risk of getting booked because it is deemed to disturb the peace in the stands.
Isak didn’t really complain all that much, being fine with taking a card after knowing the important goal he had scored.
