Manchester United have completed a deal to sign 16-year-old Isaac Konde from Liverpool, according to Fabrizio Romano, who has given the move his “Here we go” confirmation.
Romano reports that all formal steps were completed over the last 24 hours, clearing the way for Konde to join United.
The teenager had been targeted by the Red Devils during the summer as part of their recruitment of young talent.
Konde has featured for Liverpool Under-18s and can operate in midfield and on the wing. Liverpool’s official Under-18 match report also highlighted his involvement in their 3-1 win over Chesterfield in April.
The England-born youngster will now continue his development at Manchester United after leaving Liverpool’s academy.
