On Friday, Victoria Beckham appeared composed as she showcased her summer makeup look, despite the ongoing rift within her family.
The 51-year-old former Spice Girl and her husband David, 50, are currently facing a growing rift with their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his actress wife, Nicola Peltz.
Despite the family tensions, Victoria put her worries aside and returned to work, promoting her latest Victoria Beckham Beauty makeup products while revealing her favorite look for the upcoming season.
Seated in a room with a white towel wrapped around her head and wearing a personalized white bathrobe, Victoria highlighted her glowing skin with a soft, dewy makeup look.
In the tutorial video, she shared that she was looking for something “a little bit different” and “warmer” to refresh her summer makeup style, before introducing her new Terracotta eyeliner.
On Friday, Victoria Beckham maintained a confident front while presenting her summer makeup look, despite the ongoing turmoil within her family.
She went on to demonstrate how she creates her signature smokey eye to achieve what she calls a “tanned, monochromatic summer look,” describing it as a “warmer twist on my usual summer eye.
The fashion designer seemed upbeat as she walked her fans through her makeup routine, despite the recent heartache caused by her strained relationship with her eldest son.
In a video posted to Instagram in May, 26-year-old Brooklyn appeared to express where his loyalties lie, declaring his steadfast support for his wife Nicola, 30, the daughter of Miami billionaire investor Nelson Peltz.
The influencer took his wife on a dawn motorbike ride, captioning the video with heartfelt words: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby.
Sources close to the Beckhams told The Sun that the message appeared “very pointed,” with one insider noting, “It highlights just how much the family situation has intensified.
“It’s heartbreaking for everyone involved, particularly David and Victoria, who care deeply for him. This isn’t the Brooklyn his family once knew and loved.
“This post felt like a knife to their hearts, yet they remain steadfast in their support for Brooklyn.
Just hours after the post, Cruz, the Beckhams’ youngest son, weighed in on the dispute for the first time by sharing an Instagram message backing his parents, making it clear he does not side with Brooklyn.
The 20-year-old musician posted, “I love my family. Mum and Dad, you gave us life and cared for us unconditionally I can’t express how blessed we are to have you in our lives.” Meanwhile, David and Victoria have come to accept their estrangement from their beloved son after he missed all of the football star’s 50th birthday events last month.
Although they flew to London, Brooklyn and Nicola skipped the major family gathering at the Beckhams’ Cotswolds estate, as well as a scenic trip to France and a dinner at the Notting Hill restaurant, Core.
Last month, the deepening divide became even clearer when Brooklyn and Nicola flew from their Los Angeles home to London for a joint photoshoot with the Italian luxury fashion brand Moncler.
In an Instagram video posted in May, Brooklyn seemed to express his stance on the rumored family feud by declaring his unwavering loyalty to Nicola.
Hours after the post, Cruz, the Beckhams’ youngest son waded in on the row for the first time by writing an Instagram post in support of his parents, showing he does not side with Brooklyn.
The event occurred just under two miles from the Beckham family residence in Holland Park, west London.
Brooklyn didn’t inform David and Victoria that he was in the country, much less arrange to meet with them.
Harper, who will turn 14 in July, was particularly close to Brooklyn and Nicola, who frequently posted photos of her on Instagram, affectionately referring to her as “my younger sister.
The uncertainty surrounding whether her eldest brother will attend her 14th birthday celebrations is sure to be deeply upsetting for the Beckhams’ youngest child.
