Paige Spiranac has once again showcased her strong understanding of golf, accurately predicting major wins for Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler this season. The popular golf influencer foresaw McIlroy’s long-awaited Masters triumph and Scheffler’s PGA Championship victory—both of which have now come to pass.
McIlroy, the Northern Irish star, finally claimed his elusive fifth major title at Augusta National, completing the career Grand Slam. It was a historic win at his 17th attempt, ending an 11-year drought since his last major. Overcoming years of near-misses, McIlroy described the victory as the highlight of his golfing journey. “This is the best day of my golf life,” he said. “I never gave up, even when it was hard. I kept pushing, and today it all came together.”
He also shared that watching Tiger Woods win in 1997 inspired his own journey, saying, “I always dreamed of this moment, and it means everything.”
Meanwhile, Scheffler added a third major title to his resume, overcoming Bryson DeChambeau at Quail Hollow. The Texan, who previously captured the Masters in 2022 and 2024, rebounded from a turbulent year to reclaim his dominance. “This course keeps you sharp,” Scheffler said, reflecting on his steady play during the back nine. “I just focused on execution and managed to finish strong.”
Spiranac, active on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, had boldly predicted: “Rory’s going to win the Masters this year,” and named Scheffler to sweep the remaining majors. So far, her calls have been spot on.
Adding a spiritual note, Scheffler credited his faith: “I believe in a creator. My talent is a gift, and I’m grateful to compete on this stage.” With two major winners already fulfilling Spiranac’s forecast, fans will be watching closely to see if her remaining predictions continue to hold true.
