Netflix has announced the upcoming release of a new documentary series that will celebrate the remarkable career of the German rock band Scorpions. Titled The Journey of the Legends, the series is set to debut in early 2026 and will chronicle the band’s five-decade legacy, from their beginnings in post-war Germany to their global success as one of rock’s most enduring acts.
“We’re proud to confirm that production has wrapped, and it’ll be released in February 2026,” Netflix shared in a press statement. The series promises to offer an in-depth look at the band’s influence on hard rock and heavy metal, their most iconic moments, and the music that continues to inspire fans around the world.
Formed in 1965, Scorpions are best known for classic anthems like Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You, and Wind of Change. With over 100 million records sold worldwide and countless international tours, they are widely recognized as one of the most successful rock bands to come out of Europe.
