Harvey Elliott’s recent announcement has caught the eye of former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson ahead of his presumed Anfield exit.
Elliott has been at the Merseyside club since he made the switch from Fulham back in 2019, for an initial fee of £1.5million.
The midfielder had his breakout campaign in 2022/23, when he made 32 league appearances for the Reds under Jurgen Klopp.
However, after starting just two Premier League games last season, Elliott’s Liverpool career looks to be over, with a number of clubs interested in acquiring his services.

Amid the exit rumours, the former Fulham man has been away with England at the Under-21 European Championships in Slovakia.
Elliott scored in the Three Lions’ quarter-final win over Spain, before bagging a brace in their last-four triumph against the Netherlands.
In the final, the Liverpool man delivered once again, scoring the opening goal as Lee Carsley’s men retained their title with a 3-2 victory over Germany.
After the game, Elliott was awarded the Player of the Tournament award and he took to his Instagram to share a photo of himself lifting the personal accolade, with the caption: “Player of the tournament! Thank you to the team for making it happen. An absolute privilege.”

After such an impressive tournament, Elliott will not be short of suitors ahead of the upcoming campaign, and it seems inevitable that he will remain in the Premier League.
The Englishman has been pushed even further down the pecking order at Anfield, after Liverpool added Florian Wirtz to their ranks, so it seems as if it is the right time for him to move on.
Elliott has undeniable talent and ability, but has not been given the chance to realise his potential on Merseyside, as a result of the sheer abundance of quality Arne Slot has at his disposal.
It would be no surprise if the youngster begins to thrive away from Liverpool and develops into one of the best talents in the Premier League at his new club
