AYDEN HEAVEN INJURY UPDATE – RUBEN AMORIM SPEAKS
Ayden Heaven, 18, got injured while blocking a shot from Leicester’s Patson Daka early in the second half of their Premier League match in Week 29.
Right after the incident, Heaven looked to be in pain just off the field. A medical staff member quickly arrived and signaled for a stretcher.
Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim prepared Toby Collyer to replace him. Heaven has had a busy few weeks and has played many important games.

How serious is the injury?
“I don’t know yet. It’s sad. He’s a young player and can’t really explain how he feels, so it’s hard to understand the full extent. He’s feeling a bit calmer now, but we’ll need to check on him during the week.”
A setback after strong performances
He already played well against Arsenal and Real Sociedad. This was his toughest game because, after such a great performance against Sociedad, young players often relax a bit. But he stayed focused and played really well. Hopefully, it’s nothing serious.
Who is Ayden Heaven?
Ayden Heaven is a young center-back signed by Manchester United from Arsenal in January for a reported fee of under $3 million.
He had limited experience at Arsenal, playing just 10 minutes in a League Cup match against Preston North End. However, due to strong performances and injuries in United’s squad, he quickly got a chance to play.
He made his United debut in the FA Cup against Fulham earlier this month and then played 45 minutes in his Premier League debut against Arsenal. His first start came in United’s Champions League win over Real Sociedad, and this game was his first Premier League start.
