Jose Mourinho made Mohamed Salah cry in front of his teammates after a dressing room incident during his spell at Chelsea.
Before Salah found his home at Liverpool, he had a nightmare stint at Chelsea following his £11 million move from Basel in January 2014.
Salah, just 21 at the time, failed to get going at Stamford Bridge and played a bit-part role, enjoying loan spells away from the West London outfit.
But Mourinho was unable to get the best out of the Egyptian winger and even made him cry in front of his teammates in the dressing room.
Ex-Chelsea midfielder John Oki Mike recalled what it was like to play under Mourinho, revealing how he made Salah cry.

Sometimes did he cross the line? Of course he did. Of course, he did cross the line sometimes, the way he spoke to players. Especially younger players. But it was just that era of him trying to get the best out of players.”
He added: “He did that with Mo Salah when he had a go at him in the dressing room, and Mo Salah started crying, and he took him off. Sometimes when you have a go at players, you just have a go and take them off!
“Or you have a go and let them go back into the game and try to correct whatever mistake it was. But sometimes he does that and tells you, ‘You’re not going back in’. It’s a double whammy, isn’t it?”
Mourinho’s treatment of Salah underlines his ruthless approach as a manager.
