The Englishman played a key role in helping the Reds dominate the majority of the possession and run the show against the Bundesliga side.
Jones went onto end the match with a whopping 122 passes to his name, which is the most passes ever recorded by a Liverpool player in a Champions League match.
He was extremely progressive and disciplined with his passing, helping move his side forward with swift and efficient passes.
Jones is actually proving himself as a better option than Alexis Mac Allister right now because of how good his progressive passes are.
For one, the Englishman made more progressive passes (graph above) than what the Argentine (graph below) has managed in matches in the 2025/26 season.
That is why some fans are already calling for Curtis to start matches ahead of Mac Allister after his heroics against Frankfurt.
