Freddie Woodman had a day to remember as he helped Liverpool secure a 2-1 win over Everton in their 2025/26 Premier League clash.

The third-choice goalkeeper came on as a substitute in the second half, replacing the injured Giorgi Mamardashvili in an intense clash.

Woodman was able to ensure Liverpool saw off late pressure from their opponents, making a few notable saves as well.

After the end of the match, Woodman earned a lot of applauds from his Liverpool teammates and Arne Slot in the dressing room at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Slot could be seen voicing his praise towards Woodman, while those around him clapped emotionally to give him the flowers he deserved.
