Couldn’t do much about either goal and wasn’t tested much outside of those moments.
Jeremie Frimpong – 6/10
A real spark on the right. His pace and attacking threat were evident, making him Liverpool’s most dangerous outlet for large parts of the game. Subbed off to manage minutes.
Ibrahima Konate – 5/10
Handled Wolves reasonably well, but their two goals still came against him. Difficult to assess fully.
Virgil van Dijk – 5/10
Calm as ever at the back, cruising through most of the match. Outmuscled for Wolves’ winner, though.
Milos Kerkez – 5/10
Did a solid job on Mateus Mane but struggled to impress going forward.
Ryan Gravenberch – 4/10
Another frustrating performance. Sloppy passing and lack of sharpness continued. Hooked at half-time after a booking.
Alexis Mac Allister – 6/10
A bright spot in midfield. Combative, showed heart, and added energy to the team.
Dominik Szoboszlai – 6/10
Operated in the advanced midfield role but wasn’t as influential as usual. Notable for his new haircut more than his play.
Mohamed Salah – 5/10
Struggled for pace and penetration. Many passes and crosses were blocked, though he scored to end his drought.
Cody Gakpo – 4/10
Quiet outing and drew criticism, particularly for accidentally blocking Curtis Jones’ chance that seemed certain to score. Subbed off in the 65th minute.
Hugo Ekitike – 5/10
Showed flashes of pace and movement but faded after a promising start.
