Florian Wirtz – 8
Another promising performance from Florian Wirtz. He was a bright spark in the midfield, making clever passes and driving his side forward nicely. Played a key role in the equalizer, as it was his shot that struck Mukiele for the own goal, while the midfielder also created some nice chances.
Alexis Mac Allister – 7
A pretty industrious performance from Mac Allister. He was unlucky not to score in the first half, having a header hit the post. Passed the ball around nicely and made four possession recoveries too, as well as winning 3/5 duels.
Dominik Szoboszlai – 7
Szoboszlai continues to be quite consistent in churning out admirable performances for Liverpool. He was at the heart of a lot of things for the Reds on the night, moving the ball forward quickly and creating a few nice chances. Did his defensive job diligently, making five possession recoveries.
Mo Salah – 5.5
Salah came on in the second half, but was unable to provide that spcial spark for the Reds. He did create a few nice chances, but nothing extraordinary. Failed to outwit the goalkeeper with any special shots either.
Alexander Isak – 5
Isak was unable to back up his West Ham United heroics with another similar clinical performance. He might not have been given much of delivery in the box, but the Swede’s positioning and movement were quite questionable too.
