Real Madrid are no longer interested in signing Ibrahima Konate next summer, according to Foot Mercato.
Madrid have probably lost interest because of Konate’s poor form this season, but the Spanish giants are also pushing to land Dayot Upamecano of Bayern instead.
However, PSG are still pushing to sign the Frenchman and have probably spoken to him already. The Parisians believe Konate will be a great addition on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, “At Liverpool, Konaté’s situation is now clear: the proposal on the table will be the last one offered by the Reds, who feel they have been very generous with the Frenchman, who in recent months has made several signals of interest toward Real Madrid… still very much flirting with the French team’s rock,” says Sky Sport’s Sacha Tavolieri.
