Former Liverpool star sets Premier League record never seen before vs Man Utd

James Milner just can’t stop rewriting Premier League history.

The 39-year-old Brighton midfielder came off the bench against Manchester United and produced an assist that left everyone doing the maths.

His late corner found 18-year-old Babis Kostoulas – a teenager born five years after Milner made his top-flight debut for Leeds United in 2002.

That moment made Milner the first player in Premier League history to assist someone who wasn’t even alive when he started his career.

The ex-Liverpool icon has now clocked 645 league appearances, with 56 goals and 87 assists and he’s still going strong.

Sadly for Brighton, Kostoulas’ first senior goal couldn’t prevent a 4-2 defeat at Old Trafford.

But for Liverpool fans, their evergreen hero once again proved that while time flies, Milner still runs the show.
