Gravenberch – 8, Kerkez – 4: Liverpool player ratings in Burnley win

Ryan Gravenberch – 8

Liverpool’s standout on the day. Always looked for the ball, carried it forward with intent, and showed real flair in possession, even flicking it over Lyle Foster’s head. A complete performance in midfield.

Dominik Szoboszlai – 7

Started at right-back before moving into midfield after the break. Comfortable on the ball, always eager to join attacks, and forced Burnley’s keeper into action with a sharp effort from distance.

Virgil van Dijk – 8

A shaky moment early on nearly gifted Burnley a chance, but after that he was dominant in the air and solid at the back. Marshalled the defence with authority.

Alisson – 7

Had little to do thanks to Liverpool’s defensive control, but dealt calmly with the few threats Burnley created.

Andy Robertson – 7

Made an immediate impact after coming on, driving into the Burnley box and giving Liverpool extra energy down the left.

Rio Ngumoha – 6.5

Also brought on in the closing stages. Didn’t repeat his Newcastle heroics, though he was on the pitch when Salah scored.

Ibrahima Konaté – 6

Defended firmly but slowed Liverpool’s buildup when quicker play was needed. Missed a huge chance with a close-range header early on.

Alexis Mac Allister – 6

Took a heavy knock from Lesley Ugochukwu, who was later sent off. Played only the first half before being withdrawn.

Mohamed Salah – 6

Anonymous for much of the game, looking well short of his usual sharpness. Still, when the pressure was on, he dispatched the penalty that sealed victory.

Hugo Ekitike – 6

Worked hard but was left isolated up front. Showed skill to create one chance for himself, curling wide before being substituted.

Conor Bradley – 6

Introduced at half time. Energetic on the right but didn’t make a major impact after missing out on a starting spot.

Federico Chiesa – 6

Came on late in search of a spark but never found space to influence the game.
