Liverpool not looking to let Diaz go – Nunez expected to be moved on with Napoli, Al Hilal interested: Ornstein
David Ornstein has provided the latest on Liverpool’s outgoings and targets in this transfer window.

Ornstein reports that, “Napoli and Al Hilal have been keeping tabs on Darwin Nunez. It is expected that a move for him will progress again soon.
“Liverpool’s stance is that Diaz will not leave, and so unless that changes, their focus when it comes to incomings is on finding a top No 9. Sporting director Richard Hughes is prioritising that at present.”
With Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez already signed, it is turning out to be a solid transfer window for the Reds, who will be hoping to get a striker in soon.
Newcastle pushing to sign Hugo Ekitike amid Liverpool interest – Fabrizio Romano

Newcastle United are actively working on a deal to sign French striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, with the player emerging as a top target for the club this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Magpies are determined to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season’s Champions League campaign, and believe Ekitike fits the profile Eddie Howe is looking for.
Newcastle had previously shown strong interest in Joao Pedro before the Brazilian opted to join Chelsea. Now, their full focus is on securing Ekitike, and negotiations are underway both on the player’s side and with Frankfurt.
While the deal is described as complex and financially demanding, Newcastle are pushing hard right now — not weeks from now — to reach an agreement.
Ekitike is attracting interest from several other top European clubs, including Liverpool, but Newcastle are currently leading the race as they work intensively behind the scenes to bring the 22-year-old to St James’ Park.
